Here's a preview of what's happening this week on the Chatty Caterpillars' farm:
This week, our goals are to:
- Sing along and imitate the movements for songs
- Act out a story using vocabulary, props, and verbal cues
- Interact with peers during center time and outside play

- Tuesday: There's a Billy Goat in the Garden by Laurel Dee Gugler and Clare Beaton
- Wednesday: The Little Red Hen by Byron Barton

Our theme goals are to:
- Compare the different sizes of various farm animals
- Learn the life cycle of a chicken
- Identify rhymes and word families with the same ending
- Expressing and identifying emotions
- Differentiating between things that can really happen and pretend
And this week at camp you can get excited to:
- Investigate which protective wrappings can prevent a dropped egg from breaking
- Prepare bread in a bag that campers can bring home and bake in an oven
- Watch milk expand into a circle of color from a single drop of food coloring
- Make your very own mud
